Regent Street
I took this pic on the way from a dinner to the Edinburgh Sleeper train. A black cab driver hailed me as I took the photo - a sign of the increasing desperation of the London cabbies in the face of “Over”!
Breakfast with the grandchildren.
Morning in meetings in Highgate and the afternoon in St Jame’s Square.
There was a hiatus at Euston because the 2115 Highland Sleeper had broken down and everyone had to travel on the 2350 Lowlander. Miraculously there was space for everyone. I did feel sorry for the young vacationing American family whose children had gone to sleep before the earlier train failed. They had to be woken and “de-trained”.
