Beverly Beach Spencer Creek Pacific Ocean

I am endlessly intrigued by the fresh water streams complete the water cycle of our planet as the empty into the ocean.

One river we kayaked on out to the ocean did not quite make it to the open ocean. At low tide it perked into the sand of the beach and disappeared .

Not so with Spencer Creek . It rushed over the beach and into the vast Pacific Ocean.

Kathy, Christopher and I had a lot of fun searching for, and finding, agates and other semi-precious stones for our son Chris to polish in his rock tumbler.

For most of the day we three had this magnificent place to ourselves.

Such amazing good fortune to enjoy together.
