Early morning start

One thing about getting up so early in the morning, is seeing the beautiful morning sky. I took this photo this morning at about 4.55am, while walking up to the cowshed. The sky was so clear. I was half way across the paddock, when I decided to turn around, go back home and get my camera. The lights in the photo are from the cowshed - the cows were being loaded in to the yard to start milking, - we were also herd testing.

I also took this photo of the moon. It appears to be rising up from behind the hill, which I thought was very unusual. Anyway, it made for a great photo.

I had a bit of trouble taking a decent photo on the automatic settings on my camera, so I fiddled around with the manual settings, and increased the shutter speed. Not sure if what I did was correct, but the photos were so much more clearer than being set on the automatic settings.

We have a very hot day today. At 3.15pm it was 27.3 degrees C, and still rising. Thankfully we don't have the wind we had yesterday.
