Ngawi
Ngawi is at the Southern most tip of the North Island of New Zealand and quite exposed to adverse weather conditions. It has more tractors/bulldozers per head of population than anywhere else in the world! (according to google). They haul the fishing boats in and out of the wild waves. The weather has been brilliantly warm and calm since we have been here. No wild waves to be seen but it was fascinating watching the fishing boats drive up to the trailers at speed, throw a rope over an upright on the trailer as the bulldozer accelerated up the beach.
