Cramond Island

It was sunny and almost windless this morning so we decided to go out on the bikes and walk over to Cramond Island as the tide was low at about 11:30. Often we have to hurry as it’s late and the tide is coming in but today we had loads of time to look at the birds and walk around the island. It was really warm in the sun and the views were good. The blip was taken from the south end of the island looking towards the Pentlands with a Heron fishing in the shallow water. The extra is a view from nearer Cramond of a couple of the barrier posts by the causeway and a quite different flying bird.
