Breaking through

Another back blip
Took Mum to church this morning and then we went out for a Sunday roast (we both chose lamb) and pudding - chocolate sponge with choc sauce for me.
Rather than go straight back we had a drive on the high road below Skiddaw and had this lovely view across to Derwentwater and the fells.
Back at the house we had a visit from my sister and niece and then it was time to drive back to Penrith, return the car and catch the train home. I had a bit of spare time so had a short walk by the castle and views across to the snow-covered Pennines.
Uneventful journey and a friend gave me a lift home.
