Controversial.

This stone has caused the Local History Society no end of grief. It was erected many years ago to commemorate the site of Chiseldon Camp ( an army camp used during the wars). It was believed that it was on public ground, but now transpires that the landowner has documentation to say that it is on her land. AND SHE WANTS IT MOVED....

Quite what she wants to do with the piece of land, nobody knows....
