Portobello Sunshine

Where I live is not everybody's cup char, some people walk along the High st and see only the charity shops and the Councils system built flats, but I try and see the Fishmonger, the Traditional Butcher, and the Victorian buildings, and it's that reading of the landscape that defines how you feel about a place. One of the poorer buildings in Portobello is the library a crumbling flaky sixties style building, so depressive looking it takes a strong will to walk through the doors, but inside are nice sunny shelves filled with books, and like my view from my window (above) you have to ignore the urban "blots" and cut through to the beauty behind it.

Sorry that sounds a bit pompous for me, but I've started watching repeats of the South Bank show, Darlings!!!!!!!!.

I'll get my cape and Fedora and leave.
