On The Bus

Apologies for my absence over the last week or so - I’ve had a very busy few days!

On Monday last week, I found out that someone I was kinda close to had passed away. It was a woman named Jessie who had been a member of cleaning staff at my old high school, although we kept in touch after I left - she even came to my 21st birthday party last year! Her funeral will be a week on Wednesday - she was a very well known person in the community, so I expect the turn out will be massive.

On Tuesday, I was supposed to be going to a meeting with the youth wing of the political party I’m a member of, however it had to be suspended after one of my friends (a 17 year old girl btw) was subjected to pretty severe harassment and intimidation after appearing in a video. Although I obviously have my political beliefs, I don’t think anybody should be subjected to that kind of thing, regardless of which party they align themselves with (if only everyone else thought like that, we probably wouldn’t be in the mess we’re currently in - 46 days...)

I’ll try and get on here more regularly again, only a few blips until my 1000th - Better get thinking of ideas!
