Froth and bubbles
The weather has turned unusually cold - very unusually cold, and unusually very cold - for Hawaii! But as we now know, unusual is the new usual. It's windy, blustery, rainy and cold (at least by Hawaii's standards). But luckily for me, sunrise was sunny this morning, like all the other mornings. It's as though the sun declares "Here I come, make way for me". So I enjoyed my walk along the beach. It's one of my favourite moments of the day. I see people from the neighbourhood also taking a walk or enjoying the rising sun - like Bob and Diana, and their guests, Omer, Barbara the biology teacher, Marty and Sue, Carla and Al, Keala and her pilot partner. But mostly I enjoy walking alone, looking out over the ocean, watching the dancing light play on the water and jumping in and out of the froth and bubbles. I come home ready for my breakfast of muffins with almond butter and jam and a good cup of tea.
Well, it was a perfect morning to work today, so I caught up on some tasks about which I had been procrastinating. After lunch we went to the Y, mainly to warm up doing some exercise, and then music with the Maestro. We're going to try our new rice cooker for dinner. Hope it works.
