Smoothie Bowl

Unexpectedly I under-blended my smoothie today, so ended up with a spoon-able mixture- blended frozen bananas and blackberries. So yummy! Naturally I then had to find some toppings with which to adorn it. 

I did a little college work- they're only small tasks but they seem to be never ending! I pushed through and seemed to get my next assignment done, although I'm worried whether I've done it right or not, but I guess that's why we hand it in. 

Lucy came to play mid-afternoon. She was good fun as usual- she likes the jolly phonics songs Jolly Phonics A-Z and whines to be picked up to sit in the chair in front of the computer and points and moans until we put them on. My sister isn't quite as enamoured as she likes to limit screen time, but she's reluctantly realising that noisy and repetitive kids songs are where it's at right now! We even tried some 'nonsense words' after I was trying to explain to everybody why it's important to say the pure sounds, and I swear she said things that were vaguely similar! 

If she keeps this up she won't need to go to school! ;-)

Even though it's always a highlight when Lucy comes round, it's always a little tinged with sadness for me. Who know's when or if I'll be able to have one?
