Hellebores
Bike.
A sunny calm day for Becky and Daniel to come and take Archie out for frisbee fun. He always gets a good report about his fetching, which we find amazing.
Such a nice day for getting the washing dried!
My little hand sander arrived, and very cute it is too. However, on trying it out on the nearest door, it seemed to leave swirly scratch marks on the wood. There was nowhere to contact the seller and ask for advice, so I’m just going to return it (free postage). I think it would be best to go and look at them and get advice. And definitely get a dust bag with it.
In the afternoon I watched the rugby while JR and Archie took a walk round to visit Bailey's mum. Actually, the rugby was so one-sided (England were just scoring tries at will) so that it wasn’t very exciting. Indeed, it makes me very nervous of the Scotland/England game... Indeed, in the last quarter I switched over channels and watched Henry Cole bike riding round Australia instead. Much more entertaining.
In the morning JR shouted at me from the bedroom to look out the window, there was something nice in the garden. I thought it was a parcel, or perhaps a nice unusual wee bird, but no, it was these wee flowers quietly enjoying the sunshine.
Back to dust and noise tomorrow. (Hopefully) We're way behind schedule... in fact, we've had to err on the side of caution and put Kiwi visitors off, just in case, who had hoped to stay with us in April. Besides, we may continue with disruptions and have the hall painted.
