Flying!
The final backblips of our Paris trip starting with the Spirit of Freedom statue on top of the column in Place de la Bastille. The sunshine made everything look beautiful.
We then walked to Place des Vosges (first extra) which is described in the guide books as probably the most beautiful square in the world, and I can see why. Victor Hugo lived in the square for a few years and we went to see his house (having just watched the BBC adaptation of Les Miserables) which is now a museum. My second extra shows the arches which go all the way round (a lovely place for lunch if we'd had the time!) and finally a photo of the National Archives building which I'd never seen before.
