Broken wood

The focal area is the piece of broken wood and how its slanted down from where its supposed to be.
The repetition of the wood on the fence makes it look better because of the one piece broken.
The texture of the photo isn't very noticeable but you could say the broken piece of wood can have texture.

To make my picture better i would have used a better angle.
I also would have made it have more light it would make it look so much better.
