Beginnings of the Rolling Pin.....

       As you can see I have cut the wood so the pattern is created by the spalted wood inserts. These are currently pushed together to give you an idea of what the rolling pin will look like. 
I have yet to glue it all up, clamp it and leave for 24 hrs, then I will cut all four corners off with the bandsaw and then insert into the lathe ready for turning.
