Mickey for a checkup at the avian vet

Short update about Mickey. Today we went to our avian vet drs. Peter Bastiaansen for a checkup qua cushings. Mickey's weight is quite a problem and we needed to see if it again is fluids in her tummy or maybe some more fat. I myself was right... it only was fluids (becoming a cushings expert I guess LOL). During the day she even weighted about 155 grams. Yesterday and this morning I even gave her a double dose Furosemide (fluid fighter).. oh well. I really really hope there will be a time that this is under control. I am beginning to get sooo frustrated about this.. every day!
Peter also took some blood to check the proteins and liver values.

Some of you might know, that Mickey is the first parrot alive all over the world who is diagnosed with cushings disease.
