first snow

We're in Berlin, visiting my older daughter who's a resident. This was granddaughter R's first snow, in Viktoria Park. In summer there's an artificial waterfall there from a gothic style memorial from one of the Franco Prussian wars. It was very romantic in the snow.
we followed this with a visit to the market run by the Turkish community. Fabulous fruit and veg, but also lots of fabric stalls and many hand made things.
