Party time

A late start at Longshaw as we didn’t open till 11am. If the wind is forecast to reach 55 mph, it is considered to be dangerous and falling branches can be a potential hazard. We were surprisingly busy and as well as giving information about walks, we recruited 6 new members.
In the evening we went to a friend’s 60th birthday party. I’m not one for partying but it was quite a nice affair in a pub not too far from home with lots of singing as the birthday girl is a keen choir member. The photo is a a fine cake made for her by a couple of friends
