Sitting and Waiting

I do a lot of sitting and waiting. Mostly I wait for Mama to play fetch. Sometimes she takes pictures in the yard. Sometimes we can play fetch while she takes pictures. But this time she got all excited about Pearl's winter coat, and how clean she keeps it. Pearl doesn't get in the bathtub like me for her baths. She just licks and licks. When she isn't off on adventures, or eating, or sleeping, she is washing herself. She doesn't know that her clean fur smells like cat food. I like that smell. I like Pearl. Mama and Pearl and me are family. So I don't mind sitting and waiting. For a while...

Mama is posting an extra of me in my winter sweater. My hair is kind of long and shaggy. I don't like being brushed.
