Alexandra's Birthday.

A hot day, but we managed to eat dinner, and then have cake and cream.  The cake was just a shop bought one, and Isabella stuck in all the candles I had.

Mia couldn't wait to get at the cake, and whilst we were all trying to take photos, she put her finger on one of the flames.

She started to cry and we thought she had burnt herself, but she was just getting frustrated that we were taking too long to cut the cake!

Whilst waiting for dinner we played outside, it was cooler than the house.

We played hide and seek with the girls, and there was lots of laughter and shrieking, when they found Daddy hiding in the bushes, and Mummy trying to get under the paddling pool!

But I just loved it when both the girls were hiding their eyes and Mia was trying to count to ten, like Isabella. 

We had a bit of a storm tonight, it didn't last very long, but we got some more lovely rain.
