Dry riser outlet

I love the scrap place at Sunnnybank Mill, so when I saw there was an open day there today we decided we’d have a trip out.

The studios on the top floor were open , and some of them were wonderful. I came away quite inspired.

One of the not usually open to the public rooms was accessible and we met a man there that had worked there in the 1980’s and early 1990’s. It was wonderful, but sadly not the time to realise that the battery was flat in your camera. Thank goodness for iPhones!

Going with Mr H opens up a new aspect to viewing things as his years in the fire service means he looks at things most of us ignore! I had lessons on early fire doors and dry risers. All good fun! A couple of photos in extras too.
