Kirkstone Pass

Sadly it was time to say goodbye and leave LPH. What a fabulous week it has been. As we were not dashing home we decided to drive through the Lakes one more time. We made a brief stop at Thirlmere for a quick blip but as we approached Ambleside we decided to go up the Kirkstone Pass to the viewpoint. The sun was very kind and lit up the hills for us. It was so lovely we agreed that it would be a blipsnap tonight. 

Finally the holiday was over. After waving Sue off I did a quick about turn and took a member of the congregation to the Confirmation Celebration service at the Cathedral. It was a lovely service and she kindly treated me to a meal out afterwards.
