Belated birthday .....

So thoughtful of my eldest granddaughter, she's at Bristol Uni and couldn't get out to post it because of the weather . Still it was so lovely to get it today.
We said goodbye to a lovely kind lady today. It was at the church we as a family had attended since 1961 until I moved in 1993 ,such a lot of old faces to see / chat and reminisce with. The church has been completely altered inside, I must say it is rather splendid too . It had become " dowdy" over the years , but now it is bright and reorganised completely to make use of the space.
Weather wise it hasn't been too bad tho' I'm still cold .
