Above Water

8.3C bright and mostly sunny. Westerly wind to 37 mph with gusts to 50 mph. Wind gusted to just about 50 mph constantly all night. Wind slowly decreased as the afternoon wore on.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour, had a wander round the old quay, and out along the shore side of the park. The quays were well above water today. We went as far as the cemetery, turned and came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open).
