In Mangatainoka. This rugby game is played every three years in Mangatainoka. It a small rural town without a rugby field but it's claim to fame is Tui Brewery which has been brewing beer here since 1889. This brewery sponsors the game. The rugby was played on a field usually grazed by sheep. It was in remarkably good condition thanks to the farmer and others spending time and effort getting it ready for the day. Mangatainoka is in Hurricane territory so 99% of the crowd are Hurricane fans. Unfortunately they didn't win today. Score 38 to 31.
