Ruffled feathers

My day was uneventful.

Since I am currently obsessed about spending at least 1 hour a day in the sun, so opted to read in the courtyard at the gym.

The obsession has been sparked by an upcoming video, about sand rats
Diet doesn’t matter if you live outside

NOTE :  I did the maths on my sun exposure.  Some days are GOOD.  Wednesdays, video making day........are disastrous.

Which explains why I was watching 'the locals" bathing at 6 am, in the gym courtyard.

So where does the ruffled feathers fit in ?

There was an attempted break in, at Mom's place.  The lock on the gate, held............. the gate didn't.  When Mom arrived back from grocery shopping, she couldn't get in.

She enlisted the help of one of the neighbours. - whose dog had been shot, in the incident.

NOTE : The dog was hurt, not dead.

The police were phoned.  They never came.  The CPF did come.

The father was phoned.  Not ours. We no longer have one.  Wish we did, things would have turned out different.  See tomorrow's journal entry.

It was the neighbour's father.

He opened the gate and then welded the bits and pieces back on.

Mom went inside........ and life went on.
