Next month marks six years that I’ve been in my current job. This means that these windows have not been cleaned for at least six years. Shameful. I’ve now found a window cleaner willing to clean the top floor windows in the centre of town and my, what a difference it’s made.

This evening we celebrated Chinese New Year with Grace at the House of the Rising Sun. Steamed buns and katsu curry and artichoke tempura and a multitude of other delights.

My shoulders are aching and so Grace is coming to give me a massage and sort out my chi tomorrow. Apparently this will include the practice of ‘scraping’ which may result in bruising. Can’t wait.
