Dallying with a Dahlia

Headed to Wetherby today to catch up with my friends from NZ. G&I quite literally saved my life by giving me a safe haven when I had my breakdown. G and I were at college together 35 years ago! And she has been an awesome friend since. Their families are from Barnoldswick and so are over for a visit. Wetherby seemed to be half way and is a town I used to live in (and actually probably the last place they visited me in in the UK, 18 years ago)
Both sis and I took our cameras thinking we might go down to the Wharfe but we spent so long catching up in the restaurant that we didn’t have enough time on the parking to even nip down to the river. So instead it’s a fake dahlia for my shot
