Started badly, got better

Decided to brave the wind and rain and started off at The Royal Academy to see their exhibition Bill Viola\Michelangelo. Absolutely empty and I can understand why. The Michelangelo drawings were lovely but I cannot understand why they were paired with the awful video installations. Went for lunch at Fortnums and had to send the fish back as it was cold and not cooked. I must say they were very apologetic and replaced the meal without charge. Then on through the rain to a small, strange but informative exhibition mounted by the National Trust atThe India Club in the Strand. Walked back to the station through Victoria Embankment Gardens where I found this beautiful tree for flower Friday
