Stan Laurel

I went for another look when I was in North Shields this morning.
I had added the statue when I first started blipping but took it again because of seeing the Stan & Ollie film this week.

The statue is placed on the site of where Stan Laurel once lived.
The stairs opposite are supposed to be where the idea of the Piano sketch came from.
I climbed up them recently and struggled without a piano ;(

I am almost certain Stan had a sister living in Blyth which was mentioned in the papers when some letters from him came up at Auction.
