Lovely day - went walking for an hour and half this morning while our car was being serviced, then to a cafe for coffee and a muffin.  Filled in the two hours nicely.
Did some editing this afternoon, watered the garden and not much else.

Further to yesterdays dreadful news.....its the same today, but even more serious on both counts.
......the wind has strengthened, the fires have spread even more, now evacuating parts of Wakefield, a little town of 3,000.  The valley has been totally evacuated now, moving animals of all shape and form out to safety.......good news.  Devastating 
.....and over in Townsville, as seen on TV tonight - there is an inland ocean (their words, not mine) where up to 2500 head of cattle are dying as they have nothing to eat and can't get food to them.  Heartbreaking to see them in this state.  Feel for the farmers.
