Distant Robin

I haven't taken any garden bird pics for a while so I loaded up the feeders and got out the tripod and remote shutter release, to find the battery had gone flat and I couldn't find a spare. So I tried standing very still and waiting.

This Robin was obviously shy but getting impatient and hungry as he sat in the furthest branches staring at me and tree shouting until I went away. As soon as I was inside he grabbed a huge mouthful of food and flow off to eat it.

Tomorrow its off to Boots to get a new battery and perhaps something a little more closeup.
