Seagulls

Today I tried using my 50mm lens for landscape photos. I took pictures with the 18-300mm and the 50mm from the same place. I don’t know if it was the wrong location for such a comparison because the subjects were too far away, but the 50mm results were disappointing. Also, the 50 required different settings from the ones on the telephoto. It seemed to be letting in more light. I think it would be fair to try again in a different location.
