Panels in the Millennium bus shelter
Randalls green, Chalford Hill, near Stroud. The community spent their millennium grant on having a really solid stone bus shelter built, with a bench seat, and tiled panels depicting local scenes. Almost twenty years on, it's still as good as new. It's windy up there, so shelter is much needed.
Friend J and I went to visit another friend, S. She
cooked us lunch, although I actually cooked the risotto, for some reason. We had a beautiful meal of Sicilian caponata, risotto primavera and poached pears in a white wine jelly, and then caught the bus back to Stroud.
This evening we had a family conference call on Facebook messenger, and now I have to read some short stories for s course tomorrow. I am falling behind with Far from the Madding Crowd.
