Broken

The center of the plate is the focal area due to the other parts of the plate that spiral around the center and the light reflecting off the plater adds to the movement . The balance and the focal area of the photo, go well with the rule of thirds and the lines from all the broken pieces bring your eye all around the plate.
I would of added a different background so i can get more depth, or try a different angle to get different lighting off the pieces.
