Sandals

My very good Syrian friend came over today. She has just got back from Syria after visiting her ill father there. They are probably some of the poorest people we know and she had a lot to deal with on her journey but she very, very sweetly bought me a present - these sandals - back with her. I don't exactly love them, but actually I do because they're from her.
