Lucky for some

How funny that only yesterday I blipped that I'd been disappointed not to see a bird of prey on my walks, and today I saw two.

You can see if you look closely in the photo that the bird, a Red Kite I believe, is eating something.  I expect it was the remains of a rabbit as there were two Kites there and some magpies.  I was at maximum 300mm zoom here.

Rather worryingly the dog is out of sorts.  She wouldn't come out this afternoon (unheard of) and seems to be uncomfortable walking.  She's been in her bed all day.
