"Peek-a-boo!"

It does rather look like these two little characters are having a wee game beside our feeders.
Last winter we started putting feeders out down the wood and they seem to have been quite a hit with the local birds. We stopped during the summer but started again when the weather began to turn nasty at the back end of last year. Our "clients" are mostly tits, blue, coal, great and long tailed but we have also seen robin, wren, blackbird and woodpecker.
I don't know if birds have any sense of gratefulness but I do know that they seem to know us when we arrive at the feeders and perch around waiting while I refill the feeders.
