University of Glasgow
I lived within a stone's throw of Glasgow University for thirteen years, but until today had never stepped inside the campus of magnificent buildings. This is the East Quadrangle. Spot the yellow coat.
Needing a warm-up I went into one of the campus cafés for a coffee. The woman behind the counter asked if I was a student or a visitor, I said visitor, she said with a smile, "I think you must be a visiting student" and gave me the students' discount. I didn't argue :-)
Extra - Wellington Church, opposite the uni. Another fine building. I took the photo because I was sure it was one of Balfron-born Alexander Greek Thomson's designs, but Google tells me I'm wrong. The architect was Thomas Lennox Watson.
