Art appreciation

This morning I went to Ros’s presentation called “Threads” at the Art Appreciation group. She’d put in so much work, researching linen, silk, cotton and wool through the ages, She had some exciting images of paintings to illustrate her talk. After her presentation we had a browse in some of the books she’d brought. This is Katy looking at a book which has images on the left with the sewn, tapestry, weaving or knitting they inspired on the right. I learned so much.

In the afternoon I had a good 2 hours on the moor with Chris, then came back to tidy up a bit for our visitors arriving tomorrow. It’ll be a Blipmeet.
