A run out into the country!

Today we went on a road trip - 2 hours by car - to Jana Hamal a wonderful seven storey Palace that is now on an Indian endangered / watched list due to its disrepair.  Some restoration/renovating is taking place, but very slowly.  We were worried that the beams holding the ceiling did not appear to be very substantial.  The artwork is amazing. Such intricate glass pictures. Wonderful to see and a lot of history tied up in these buildings.
The area is very windy so we had to cover up with the shawls we bought yesterday.  India is meant to be hot, but we are finding the evenings chilly.   Hopefully a quieter day tomorrow.
