Father Christmas

Today I returned to see my 'holistic therapist', Rhona, for a deep tissue massage which, while at times bordering on painful, was also extremely enjoyable!

As well as a little Christmas tree complete with fairy, lights and baubles, Rhona has in her lounge another tree - more of a branch really - which she found in the woods, brought home and painted. (As you do!) I think there are lights and baubles on it all year round, but at the moment she has Christmas trinkets hanging on the tree.

I rather liked this Santa Claus with his stringy beard. He's got lovely long eyelashes, twinkly smiling eyes and rosy cheeks. It's my idea of what Santa should look like.
