The water levels in the upper Taylor River are dropping. But there is still enough water for the game Maisie enjoys. I toss small pebbles into the water. She tries to find them! Great fun. We’ve had another cooler cloudy day.... Over in Tasman, in the Nelson Province, the huge bush fires still rage. Our Hannah and Alex, as Marahau Fire Force volunteers, are there for an overnight shift. They’ve joined the hundreds of personnel working hard to contain the fires.
