Life through the lens...

Christmas rose

A lovely flower even with a few blemishes. I have the plant in a pot by the front door.
So nice that it is flowering for Christmas too.

We have been lucky with the weather again today. Beautiful blue sky, although just a shower in the afternoon, when the sky turned very dark, but it soon passed over.

Washing, cleaning, and a little more Christmas shopping today.

Tonight we are off to Ilkley for our Christmas wine tasting and dinner.
Something we look forward to every year.
As usual it will be Yorkshire pudding and onion gravy to start, followed by carve yourself roast beef ( One large joint per table of 10) With roast potatoes, and lots of different seasonal vegetables. Then apple strudel and cream to finish.
The wine tasting this year is going to be wines from Burgundy. (which I have been told are going to be extra special!)
Sounds like we are going to have a great evening!
