New Arrivals

Fourteen guinea fowl eggs in a nest by my neighbours' clothesline hatched this morning. The keets (baby guinea fowl) and their mother are now in a secure coop on their own property.  Guinea fowl are careless mothers and few keets survive if they aren't confined somewhere safe.
