Caen Hill (Wednesday 6th February 2019)

The rain has washed away all the snow and it was good to be out and about in Archie today. I had a late picnic lunch by the canal this afternoon and wandered up over the Prison Bridge and past the Black Horse to Maton Lock. Mr and Mrs Swan were by the Moorings, not yet nesting, but Mr Swan was looking particularly splendid outside Caen Hill Café.
