On tour!
The Three Amigos have been treated to a guided tour to a day on the road by Martyn who was more than happy to be the Chief Fun Maker!
The day began with the journey down to Rugby which involved being stuck in a traffic jam on the M1...no surprise there! Lots of sitting stationary on the motorway made for the perfect opportunity for The Three Amigos to sit on the dashboard.
Martyn was keen to educate The Three Amigos in the sort of things you should listen to whilst on the move in the car. He opted for a spot of Doctor Who today and has made it clear to them that Peter Capaldi is the best time lord. Martyn is still waiting for a dinner date with Peter...a birthday request from a few years ago. Naturally he has informed the amigos of this...
There was time for a stop off in Lutterworth where the invention of the turbojet engine by Sir Frank Whittle is celebrated with this jet. Martyn loves this kind of thing and he has created three new fans in the Amigos!
Soon the job was done for the day and it was time to head home. After spending such a long time in the queues of the M1, Martyn was keen to show that not all motorways are like car parks. He demonstrated this on the M6 looking down on the moving traffic.
What a day!! An huge, huge thank you to Martyn and my Dad for such wonderful photos and an action packed day!
