Yellow tulips

The yellow tulips in my January bulb basket are blooming and look great sitting in the middle of the cedar chest in the living room.

The amaryllis that is in my December bulb basket is finally about to bloom and it sits in my kitchen. (Extra #1)

It is gorgeous weather to be outside and so I am sitting and supervising the cutting back of the crepe myrtles. (Extra #2). The birds will have to roost elsewhere for a while until the new shoots grow.

They’ve got a nice fire burning and it will take some time to get it all done. We will all be back out at it again on Friday.

I’ve puttered a little and will do again tomorrow in the yard. It’s that yo-yo headache weather though so not getting as much done as I would like.
