Koh Lanta

Today we were up at 6 as we were supposed to be picked up between 6.30-6.45 to catch our ferry to Koh Lanta at 6.50 no one had arrived so we called them to be advised sorry sorry you get your own taxi. So we ordered a taxi which arrived at 7.15 and the ferry left at 8, we didn’t make it but because it was there fault we were put on a speed boat which left the port 45 mins after our ferry we should have been on but still got there only 15 mins late so it wasn’t too bad at all.

We checked into our beach resort which is so chilled, we have a little beach hut with a veranda. We had a walk along the beach we are on which is long beach and all that is here are hotels, few bars and restaurants nothing else it’s like being on a desert island with WiFi! I had the best afternoon nap on a comfy sun bed under a tree followed by a swim in the sea which I soon got out as I saw a jelly fish which had already managed to sting me but luckily it was only a small one so it just feels like a nettle sting, Paul has a few stings as he wouldn’t listen an carried on swimming in the sea!

Tonight we went for some food at one of the restaurants along the beach I had a Thai red curry it was so hot by the end my nose was running so I had to order ice cream to cool my mouth down.

We’ve spent the rest of the night in a couple of the bars listening to the sea it’s the most chilled place ever I love it.
