China Clay open face mining

I'd just done loads of research about this site on the edge of the village & written a piece about the site, the workers, & the wildlife, the village pub even got a mention, to share with you, touched something, & the lot has disappeared. Can't start again ... so this is it.
My day's been a bit hit & miss so par for the course.
